PICKLEBALL TV BRAND IDENTITY

Pickleball is everywhere! JXTwo’s work lead the effort for the Pickleball TV branding efforts. Along side their creative I contributed to the project offering a concept and creative approach. Here is a snapshot of my work and the outcome used by PBTV.

My initial approach to these logos was to connect pickleball with the sports culture of the 1970s, when sports became a significant part of our culture and entertainment. In the 70s, television allowed sports to reach a much larger and more diverse audience. This created a strong connection between the viewers, the sports, and the athletes. Athletes suddenly became celebrities and major brands. These logos aim to be timeless and reflect the rise of broadcasted sports.

Sleek, modern typography and simple yet strong graphic elements are a reflection of 70s sports branding. This style is represented in the new Pickleball TV branding, catering to its broad audience and the growing global enthusiasm for the sport.
